LOBBYING COMPLIANCE
We advise clients on lobbying registration and reporting requirements at the federal level and in all 50 states. Lobbying regulations are complicated, especially at the state level where laws vary from state-to-state and are often vague. We help clients navigate these issues and can design compliance programs to allow your organization to stay compliant and focused on its mission.
NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
We provide a full range of legal services and counseling to tax-exempt organizations, including 501(c)(3) public charities and private foundations, 501(c)(4) and 501(c)(6) entities. Services include initial formation, seeking and maintaining tax-exempt status, state charitable solicitation registration, corporate governance, state and federal lobbying compliance, risk management, employment law, advising on the relationship between 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) affiliated entities, and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual agreements.

We advise clients on a range of federal, state, and local government ethics laws including gifts, travel, and conflicts of interest, and can develop compliance policies and conduct training programs to help your organization maintain compliance with all applicable laws and rules.
CAMPAIGN FINANCE & ELECTION LAW
We help Super PACs, candidates, PACs, politically-active 501(c)(4)s, and donors navigate the maze of federal and state campaign finance regulations. In addition, we provide counsel on everything from ads and fundraising solicitations to ballot access. We also represent clients in enforcement actions and investigations by the Federal Election Commission and state regulators.
